"Steve Kern of Stillwell Hanson Architects in Seattle on Monday received a building permit to do $1 million worth of alterations to Unit 2000, the two-bedroom condo on the top floor of the 20-story project at First and Union. The application doesn't list a contractor. Last fall, the unit sold for just under $7.2 million. The listing broker, Scott Wasner of Realogics Sotheby's International Realty, said at the time the buyers were very private. Indeed they are. They've done a terrific job of shielding their identity."
